Fresh vs already tested

An unmitigated order block is one price hasn't returned to since it formed, still fresh and untested. A mitigated order block has already been revisited at least once.

Each touch uses it up a little

The first touch of a fresh, unmitigated order block usually carries the most weight. Each additional touch afterward tends to weaken the zone a bit more.

A violated zone deserves caution

Once an order block is fully mitigated and price has traded clean through it with a strong close beyond, treat any bounce there with real caution rather than blind trust.
