Wick

Terms of Use

Last updated 2 August 2026. Using Wick means agreeing to these.

What Wick is

Wick is an educational game about reading financial charts. It contains lessons, quizzes, a simulated trading terminal, and competitions between users. Every trade placed inside Wick is simulated. No real money is ever at stake, no real order is ever placed, and Wick is not a broker, a dealer, an exchange, or an investment adviser.

This is not financial advice

Nothing in Wick — no lesson, no chart read, no coach message, no risk score, no Edge Score — is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and none of it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. The coach and the signal engine describe what is on a chart; they do not predict what any market will do, and they are frequently wrong.

Skill on a simulated account does not transfer cleanly to real money, where slippage, fees, emotion and the fact that it is your own money all change the game. If you decide to trade for real, that decision and its consequences are entirely yours. Most people who trade actively lose money.

Your account

You need an account to use the lessons and the terminal. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account. Do not create accounts to manipulate leaderboards or competitions.

Choose a username other people can see without wincing. Usernames that are abusive, hateful, impersonate someone else, or are obviously designed to cause offence will be removed, and the account may be closed.

Competitions

Competitions are ranked on simulated performance. There is no entry fee, no prize pool, and no money changes hands — they exist to make practice more interesting. Exploiting bugs to affect a leaderboard will get your results removed.

Subscriptions

Wick Pro is a recurring subscription billed through Stripe. It renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change, and if they do you will be told before the change applies to you. Because Pro is a digital service made available immediately, refunds are handled case by case — email us and explain, and you will get a straight answer.

What you may not do

Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute Wick's lessons or content. Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or to access other users' data. Do not use Wick to break the law. Automated access to the market-data endpoints is rate limited and abuse gets blocked.

Market data

Prices and charts come from public third-party sources, may be delayed, and may be wrong. Wick does not warrant the accuracy or availability of any market data, and the practice terminal deliberately simulates price movement between updates. Do not rely on anything here as a source of truth about a real market.

Availability and changes

Wick is an early product, actively being built. Features will change, break, and occasionally be removed. The service is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Wick is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including any trading loss you incur anywhere else.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time by emailing joinwickapp@gmail.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we do, and you had an active subscription, you will be refunded the unused portion.
