Structure inside a range
Market Structure Mastery
When nothing trends
Not every market trends. In a range, highs and lows repeat near the same levels instead of stepping higher or lower, equal highs, equal lows, back and forth with no net progress.
Trend rules don't fit a range
Trying to force trend-following BOS and CHoCH labels onto a choppy range usually produces false signals. Ranges need their own read: fade the edges, don't chase breakouts blindly.
A real breakout needs displacement
A real range breakout usually needs a genuine BOS beyond the range's external high or low, with displacement, not just a small poke outside the edges that snaps right back.
