The basic play: confirm the direction with structure or a sweep, then set a limit order inside the fresh FVG instead of chasing price at market. Let the level come to you.

Where the stop belongs

Stop-loss placement typically goes just beyond the far edge of the FVG, or beyond the swing point that created it. That gives the zone room to react without exposing you to the full failure of the setup.

Some setups never trigger

Not every FVG gets touched before price runs away. Missing an entry because price never returned is a normal outcome, not a reason to chase price after the fact.
