Why equal highs are bait

Smart Money

Painted targets

Two-plus equal highs look like a solid ceiling, which is exactly why the stops resting above them are a magnet. Equal levels are less 'strong S/R', more 'unfinished business'.

Check yourself

Smart-money reading of triple equal lows:

  1. Unbreakable floor
  2. A stacked pool of sell-stops likely to get raided correct
  3. Nothing

Each retest stacks more stops beneath. The obvious floor is bait until the sweep clears it.
